A CHANCE to walk the quarryman's path is offered by the Dartmoor Preservation Association.

The path follows the route of quarrymen who worked at Merrivale Quarry on their way home to Peter Tavy. Starting at the car park below Staple Tor, it takes in Cox Tor, Great Combe Tor, Peter Tavy Cleave, Hargrove and back via Cox Tor.

The walks starts at 10.30am on Saturday February 4 and will take four hours. Contact John Watson on 01822 614855.
