POLICE in Tavistock are appealing for information following a theft of property worth around £1,500 from a field near Walkhampton.

The theft occurred between 5.30pm on Saturday November 13 and 8am the following morning, from a cattle shed in a field near Woodman's Corner.

The items stolen include a quad bike, wheels and tyres for a Toyota HiLux and a Makita drill.

Anyone who has been offered these items or who has any information on the thefts should call Tavistock Police Station on 08452 777444 and ask for PC Colin Taylor, quoting crime reference JT/10/1207.
