CALLINGTON Fire Brigade rescued a puppy after it became stuck between a conservatory and a garage in Gunnislake on Sunday evening. The inquisitive 14-week-old puppy had walked into the three-inch alleyway between the two buildings in the Woodland area, climbed a wall at the end and fell backwards into the gap. ?He was on his back with his legs in the air and there was no-way he could get out,? said Callington station officer Kevin Rookley. ?In the end we had to take the glass panes out of the conservatory.? The puppy was trapped for an hour and a half and it took firefighters half an hour to release him. Needless to say he was very grateful! ?If he was human he would have had a very red face,? said Kevin.
