ELEVEN Morris groups will descend on Tavistock’s Bedford Square on Saturday, November 18 for a ‘Pudsey day of Morris’.

Meavy based Dartmoor Border Morris has organised the day and will be joined by sides from both near and far, including local side Lodestone Border Morris, plus Enigma Morris from Taunton.

The day, which will run from 10am to 4pm, will see sides dance and collect money for BBC Children in Need.

Last year, despite the freezing conditions and a touch of rain, the kind people of Tavistock donated £1,320 in six hours and every penny went to the charity.

Following the Pudsey day of Morris, Dartmoor Border Morris will be throwing open the doors of Meavy Parish Hall for anyone interested in joining in the festivities. No experience necessary.
