Oke Argyle U13s 14

Appledore U13s 2

Okehampton Argyle got off to a flying start in this league match with Charlie scoring from Reece Foster's cross in the first few minutes.

The pace continued with Reece Foster scoring from Dan Butler's pass less than a minute later. A near miss from Reece saw Charlie Richards hit in on the rebound for Okehampton's third goal. Jack Simmons dribbled through to score the next.

The Appledore keeper made a good punch out to save Nathan's shot but Dan was there to get the goal. Good passing from Joe Turner, in his Oke debut, helped the team. Charlie got his hat-trick with a pass from Reece leaving Okehampton a very strong 6-0 up at the end of the first.

The second half continued well for Oke with Indigo scoring almost straight away and Matt Williams, marking his Oke debut, with a clean goal from the post and a second following only moments later. It was Reece, who in excellent form, scored the next two for Argyle. After a flurry of activity at the Appledore goal managed to take the score to 12-0.

A slightly despondent Appledore managed to recover a little and sneak one in off the corner post.

Reece responded to this with another goal, his fourth in the match with Indigo to score again after a missed penalty by Matt Williams. The final goal of this match went to Appledore making the final score 14-2.

Okehampton player of the match went to Matt Isaac.
