POLICE have launched an arson investigation, following a blaze in two portable toilets in West Devon.
The toilets were situated in Fillace Park, Horrabridge, for a football event on June 20. When the owners came to collect them on June 22, they found fires had been set inside the units ? both will now have to be replaced.
Sgt Dave Anning said: ?Setting fires is obviously a dangerous thing to do ? that is why arson carries a maximum sentence of life imprisonment if tried in a crown court.
?In this case, no-one seems to have been put at risk, but it is important we speak to whoever has done this, before they do it to someone?s house.?
Anyone with information should call Sgt Anning at Tavistock Police, quoting crime ref JT/04/702.
