Residents in Tavistock, Yelverton, Princetown, Bere Alston, Buckland Monachorum and Lamerton were affected by a fleeting power cut on Friday night.

Western Power confirmed that there was a loss of power for ’just a minute’ at about 8pm.

Areas in the north of Plymouth were also affected. The cause is being investigated.
