POLICE are calling for witnesses following a road traffic collision in Tavistock Road, Callington on Tuesday, June 22, when a motorcyclist received serious leg injuries.

The incident, which took place at 11.26am, involved a red Peugeot estate motor vehicle and a red Yamaha motor cycle.

The male rider of the motor cycle, aged 21 and from Plymouth, was taken to Derriford hospital in Plymouth for treatment.

The occupants of a Peugeot car, a man and a woman — aged 61 and 62 who live locally —were uninjured.

Police are appealing for witnesses.
