POLICE in Callington are appealing for information on the following thefts, including a dinghy and oars which were stolen from a garden in Calstock between May 5 and 6.

The aqua JEU dinghy is valued at £150 and anyone with information should call Callington police on 08452 777444, quoting the crime number BN/10/250.

A decorative house sign was taken from a property in the Clitters area of Callington between May 1 and 2. The sign has a wooden frame and contains a picture of a cottage and daisies. The crime number is BN/10/243.

Between May 9 and 10 a Falcon energiser unit and a 12-volt leisure battery were removed from a tree in a field at Metherell. They are part of an electric fencing system for horses and this is the second time this month that a theft has occurred here. The crime number is BN/10/264.

In the Broadmead area of Callington a garden ornament in the shape of a lion was stolen between May 8 and 9. The item is valued at £60 and anyone with information is asked to call the police, quoting the crime number BN/10/263.
