A NEW telephone number for contacting Devon and Cornwall police with non-urgent enquiries was launched this week.
The old 08705 777444 number, which was charged at national rate, has been replaced with a new, local rate non-emergency number ? 08452 777444. In the vast majority of cases this means the cost of calling will be halved. The old number will continue to co-exist for the foreseeable future to ensure callers can get through while the new number is advertised.
