TAVISTOCK?S live charity music event, the Acoustic Cafe, takes place again this Saturday, November 20.

The event offers a mix of blues, contemporary folk and jazz in an informal, relaxed cafe-style setting with a selection of home-cooked food on offer. Diners may bring their own wine or beer to accompany their meal.

This month promises to be a talent-packed evening with appearances by nine different acts, including blues trio Pure Velvet, local guitar virtuoso John Charlton, Plymouth-based folk band This England and the much acclaimed singer-songwriter Rebecca Slater-Lions.

Doors open at 8pm at the United Reformed Church on Russell Street. Admission is £4 with proceeds going to the Old Hall Community Aids Appeal.
