A HARDY perennial bring and buy sale at Bridestowe takes place on Saturday, May 28 from 10am to noon at Leawood. Many plants will be on offer in the sale, held in aid of the Children?s Society and St Bridget?s Church. There will also be a cakes and toys stall run by and for Bridestowe, Sourton and Lydford Preschool. The event is supporting two new causes this year, Traidcraft and Operation Sunshine. On the Traidcraft stall items include tea, coffee and biscuits. Operation Sunshine welcomes gifts of useable but no longer wanted tools which they send to Africa and give to people to whom they will make a real difference. If anyone has any such tools, they are asked to bring them along to the sale.
