University 4
South Zeal Utd 4
UNIVERSITY took the lead within five minutes with a disputed penalty, but Zeal shrugged off what looked to be a poor decision and equalised deservedly after half an hour when Tom Reilly headed home from a Steve Pillivant free kick.
Zeal could easily have gone into the second half several goals in the lead but the home keeper made some good saves to keep University in the match.
Zeal continued to dominate and went 2-1 up after five minutes of the second half when Tom Reilly converted a cross from close range.
It looked as if Zeal were in control but some slack defending allowed the home side to score two goals in a period of ten minutes and lead 3-2.
Tom Reilly has been hitting the target frequently in the last few games and he equalised for Zeal to bring his tally to seven goals in three games.
University were running the Zeal defence ragged and with five minutes left a cross from the left saw a University forward score from close range.
It looked all over until Steve Pillivant went on a run down the right and was brought down in the area. Pillivant took the penalty to level the score and rescue a point for Zeal.
This week home to Crediton, kick-off 2.30pm.
