THE Alexander Centre in Tavistock will be hosting two meetings in coming weeks, for people with learning disabilities, their friends and carers.
The meetings will provide an opportunity for anyone involved in person centred planning to get together. Person centred planning means that the people who support adults with learning difficulties come together to share resources and work out achievement plans in a co-ordinated manner.
The person that keeps an individual's plan on track is known as a facilitator, and the meetings at the Alexander Centre should be helpful for facilitators to meet, problem solve and share ideas.
The Devon Person Centred Planning Hubs will take place at the Alexander Centre on February 24 and March 10, between 10.30am until 1.30pm.
There is no need to book. Anyone that needs more information about PCP should go to the meetings or call Gail Rochelle on 07713 110658.
