THE Neighbourhood Plan group for the parish of Buckland Monachorum (Buckland, Yelverton, Crapstone, Milton Combe and Clearbrook) is holding an open day on April 23.

A spokesperson for the Neighbourhood Plan said: ‘The planning group will be on hand to discuss the plan and get your views on a range of issues including where any new housing might be located and what type of housing would be most appropriate.

‘Several sites have been suggested, but your views will count when, and if, any are selected. There will also be an opportunity to look at a concept study for development at Yelverton (Leg O’Mutton) where again we would welcome your views. Please come along and play a part in the future shape of our parish. Refreshments available.’

The open day will be in St Paul’s Church Hall, Yelverton (next to the church) from 10am until 3pm on Saturday, April 23.

The draft plan can be viewed at www.bucklandmonachorumplan.co.uk where there is also an opportunity to provide any comments you may have on the plan so far.
