A GROUP of young Okehampton parents successfully completed a Talk Together course with Adult and Community Family Education in December. The course looked at aspects of parenting and covered a wide variety of topics, ranging from creative play to speech development and tantrums. A new free course will be running for any interested parents starting in April. Some of the parents, having returned to learning through doing the course, are eager to continue their learning and wish to start a computer CLAIT course on Thursday afternoons where a creche will be available for a small cost. Adult and Community Education are therefore looking for other interested young parents to join the group.
