AFTER a winning run of three years Tavistock Young Farmers' Club was beaten by Ivybridge in the South Dartmoor Young Farmers' Pantomime Competition at the weekend but the group received a highly commended prize nevertheless, with actors Hayley Eggins as Snow White, George Steer as the dame Mrs Rub and Daniel Cole as Lean Green picked out for their exceptional talent.

'Snow White, the Purdiest Girl in the West' was performed to an audience at Mount Kelly ahead of the competition which was held between seven clubs at the Palace Theatre in Paignton.

The pantomime had a cast of 30 with other main parts played by Bethany Abel as Bronco Blue and Emily Bickell as Cactus.
