HORRABRIDGE started the game at blistering pace and it took them just 47 seconds to open their account when Jack Northam brilliantly volleyed home Courtney Fry's corner from 20 yards. Horrabridge continued to play quality football and Josh Birch doubled their lead five minutes later when he latched on to Courtney Fry's through-ball and hammered the ball into the top left corner of the goal. SB grabbed a goal against the run of play but the home side responded well to this and Alex Madar added a third goal after good work from Max Burgess and Aaron Johnson.
Both teams had to play the second half in tough conditions and although Horrabridge dominated for large periods, they struggled to beat the visiting keeper who made several good saves. SB got themselves back into the game when Horrabridge failed to clear the ball from a corner and the SB striker hammered it into the net. The visitors then grabbed their equaliser courtesy of a free-kick from 25 yards. Horrabridge upped their game and showed great character and Alex Madar brilliantly drilled the ball home from 16 yards after good work from Finlay Ross.
With five minutes remaining Josh Birch then put the game beyond the visitors when he calmly beat the keeper in a one-on-one situation.
