TAVISTOCK Methodist Minister the Rev Jeff Moles and his wife, Liz (pictured left), are off to Zimbabwe and South Africa soon to visit various church projects.

They will spend most of their time working with a small charity based in Bulawayo, which provides homes for some of the many children who are abandoned or orphaned, due to their parents dying from HIV-Aids.

This charity, Mind the Gap-Africa, is sponsored by Tavistock Methodist Church, and anyone wishing to find out more, or contribute towards their work, can contact the church office on 01822 611049. Jeff and Liz will also be involved in teaching and leading retreats in Bulawayo.

In South Africa, the couple will visit various church projects in and around Johannesburg and Cape Town, especially in the townships. After they return they will be reporting back at a special 'Africa Evening' at Tavistock Methodist Church on Saturday, September 3.
