ORDULPH staged a superb fightback after finding themselves 3-1 down after 25 minutes against a well organised university team.
The visitors started well and took the lead when James Phillpotts free kick was crossed in top be met with a flying header at the back post from Paul Gliddon. But they let the game slip and were soon behind after a mix up in the back allowed Plymouth to score past Ash Woodrow and another soon followed. University's third came via a free header from a corner which looked to have won the game for the hosts.
Ordulph, however, never gave in; after a fine move involving Aggiss and Stephens, Gliddons cross was set up by Rob Maloney for Paul Hoskin to bundle home.
After the break the visitors looked stronger and Rob Moloney playnig upfront was a really menace, he again set up Gliddon, who seeing the keeper was off his line shot to knock it in the top corner.
It was all guns blazing for the Ordulph and a fine move won the game when Phillpotts played in Stephens and his cross was met by Rob Moloney whose header down was volleyed in by the on rushing Phillpotts.
James Aggiss produced a superb last minute block to keep the lead in tact and Ordulph saw out the game, to the delight of manager Kevin Murphy. With one game left Ordulph feel a win will guarentee third place.
