OKEHAMPTON police have welcomed a new PCSO to their neighbourhood policing team.

Raquel Rowe joins the Okehampton team after 12 years working in Holsworthy.

‘Raquel is very experienced in working with other partner agencies and has a lot of knowledge that will be very useful to the West Devon team,’ said PC Nathan Walker. ‘Feel free to stop and say hello if you see her out and about.’

Pennie Channing, neighbourhood team leader for West Devon, said: ‘I am delighted to have Raquel join the neighbourhood team at Okehampton. Raquel is a very experienced PCSO and worked with me on my team at Holsworthy for over ten years so I know first-hand how hard she works to support and safeguard her community. Holsworthy’s loss is Okehampton’s gain!’
