OKEHAMPTON Town Council has donated £2,000 to Okehampton and District Community Transport Group.

Okehampton mayor Jan Goffey presented the cheque to group co-ordinator Sue Wonnacott recently. The volunteer car scheme, which costs £24,000 to run, provides transport for people without transport to go shopping, visit the doctor or even just meet up with friends.
