A FULL programme of trips and talks have been enjoyed by Whitchurch Senior Citizens' Club this summer, culminating in a day out at Ilfracombe and Combe Martin last week.
The Club is looking forward to its annual meeting in November and is eager to welcome new members to join their friendly society.
Margaret Westlake, club president, said: 'We take members from Tavistock, and some come in from Horrabridge, so it's not necessarily just a club for Whitchurch — anyone from the West Devon area is welcome to join.'
Mrs Westlake said this year, the committee needs to elect a new secretary.
'The present secretary has served the club for the last ten years, so she certainly deserves a break,' said Mrs Westlake.
The next date in the diary is the harvest festival on October 2 at Whitchurch Parish Hall.
