TAVISTOCK based triathlete Peter Freedman tasted his first national success recently when he won the silver medal at the National Triathlon Sport Championships held at Redditch.

Peter who represents Team Tri UK, is studying for a degree in business administration at Bath University where he trains with the national development squad

Peter said of his success: ?I was really pleased to do so well in my first national championship at senior level.

?I am at the lower end of my age group, 20-24, and as triathletes tend to reach their peak in the mid to late twenties I hope that I can do even better in the future years.?
