GEOFFREY Cox, the, Conservative MP for West Devon and Torridge, is planning a tour of villages around the constituency next month. Mr Cox will invite constituents to ?Brief Your MP?? on both local and national issues. The aim of the tour programme, starting on August 5 and including visits to villages all over the constituency, is to give constituents the opportunity to tell Mr Cox, in person, what is most important to them. He said: ?I look forward to meeting more of my constituents in person. In these first few months since having the honour of being elected, the wide variety of issues brought to my attention has been remarkable. ?The tour will give me the opportunity to discuss these issues in more depth and in the long term help me to act on behalf of my constituents whose real problems I hope to articulate during my time as their representative.?
