FIREFIGHTERS were called to reports of a motorcycle that had crashed and caught on fire in Tavistock on Saturday evening. Crews arrived and confirmed the vehicle and a section of hedge was well alight along Plymouth Road at around 6.40pm. They put out the fire using a hose reel jet. One casualty was treated by paramedics. l FIRE crews from Tavistock and Launceston attended a road traffic collision in Milton Abbot on Sunday. All persons were free of the vehicles at the scene on Fore Street by around 4pm. They made both vehicles safe and uprighted one vehicle using a winch.
