RE your article (September 4), I would like to say that the military have every right to be on Dartmoor, just as you, me and everyone else who either lives, works, or visits Dartmoor.
Dartmoor is here for everyone, to be enjoyed by everyone, and shared by everyone, not just for certain individuals.
The MOD have been a great asset to Dartmoor, in the conservation of wildlife and flora, for the local economy, for training of troops in the two world wars, and many more conflicts our men and women have been sent to.
And most important for me and many others, employment!
