THE men played their rescheduled Poultry Medal at Tavistock Golf Club. 

In division one Nick Mier had an excellent nett 68 and, both with nett 71, were Peter Leverton and Glyn Cunnick. Four players, all with nett 72, were Rob Lovell, Sam Hurdwell, George Gawman and Mark Russell. 

Shaun Dixon topped division two with a nett 70 with Andy Cunningham and David Thomas both coming in with nett 71.  In third place was Phil Eastman with nett 72.  In division three first was Paul Stratton with nett 70 on countback from Chris Henderson closely followed by Ian Phipps with nett 71.

The weather was not so kind to the ladies who, because of the atrocious conditions, played their annual Bottle Trot over 12 holes. 

The winners were Gail Reed, Teresa Hughes and Liz Lyndon with 43pts on countback over the last 6 holes from Ann Court, Sam Avens and Pat Pope.  Third were Helen Phipps, Val White and Maggie Hillman with 40pts.

The rescheduled Poultry Stableford was also played over 12 holes with Dawn Philott first in division one with 25 pts. Second was Wendy Wroe with 22 pts and on countback from Maggie Hillman was Tracy Sutcliffe with 21 pts. 

In division two, first was Julie Harding 25pts, second Wendy George, 22pts and third Jan Walls with 20pts.  Sam Avens had an excellent 27pts in the division three, second was Sue Bailey with 20pts on countback from Margaret Burn. 

Sam Aven won the June Kendall trophy.
