THE second issue of the local writers' magazine Margins was launched on Tavistock's Bedford Square on Saturday. The authors, wearing creative hats, some of which were generously supplied by Tilly Whims, enhanced the event, which was well supported. The second issue contains articles, poems and stories inspired by Dartmoor and Tavistock and features members of the local writers' community and a literary trail of Dartmoor with a map provided by West Devon Borough Council. Although the magazine sold out on the day, copies are available in Book Stop, Pillars, the Post Office and the Tourist information and from selected tourist attractions on Dartmoor.
