LAST weekend was filled with sun, music and fun times as crowds of people ventured to Lydford's mini music festival, Lydstock.
Several local bands and musicians, including Firefly, Kitty and the Lost Boys, Ten Zero One, The Avatars, Dave Rich, India Lewis and other performers entertained campers and day visitors throughout the weekend.
There were a number of stalls on offer, and stilt walkers from 'A Cherry on Top' paraded around adding a splash of colour to the event.
This is the fourth year Lydstock has been held and this year's event was deemed very successful.
Gemma Cox, a member of the organising committee, said: 'We sold out before the gates even opened which was fantastic.
'All the bands played for free and A-Z Scaffolding from Plymouth provided the stage for free too. We are yet to finalise the figures but it is looking like around £3,000 to split between the nominated charities. We're really chuffed with that. We are a new committee and I feel very proud of what we have achieved.'
The charities that will benefit from the funds raised from the festival are TASS (Tavistock Area Support Services), Children's Hospice South West, and POOCH (Plymouth Oncology and Outpatient Chemotherapy unit).
