A PILOT project in West Devon supporting ex-service men and women who are suffering with post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) has been so successful it has gained funding for another course.

The Stresscare Colourwheel Self-Empowerment Programme was launched in Tavistock last autumn, thanks to funding from the National Lottery's Awards for All programme.

Caroline Keane, who drew up the programme, said she was delighted to be able to offer another course in the area.

'The funding is purely on the back of the success of the last course.

'It's most unusual for Awards for All to do this,' she said.

The course, aimed at veterans and ex-servicemen and women, begins on June 6, and on June 7 for their families and affected others and will run for eight weeks in Kingdon House, Tavistock.
