CRUCIAL West Devon Local Plan Inquiry information can be scrutinised by the public, as the details go on the web this week.
The first draft of the Local Plan Inquiry programme, notes of the pre-inquiry meeting and guidance to objectors has been made available to the public.
For the first time, this information has been posted on West Devon Borough Council?s website at http://www.westdevon.gov.uk">www.westdevon.gov.uk and will be regularly updated as the inquiry programme is expected to be modified over the next few weeks.
The inquiry starts on Tuesday, January 14 next year, at the borough council?s Okehampton offices in Oaklands Drive. It is expected to last for 12 weeks.
The local plan went to the public in September 2000, and the second draft was produced in April 2002. Almost 1,900 representations were received, although some have now been withdrawn.
Copies of the inquiry documents are not only available on the website, but can be viewed at the borough council?s Tavistock and Okehampton offices and at both town libraries.
