Magician Geoffrey Durham is taking time off from Countdown to tour his new show which is coming to the Wharf, Tavistock on Saturday, September 11.

?I loved doing the last show?, says Geoffrey. ?I performed it for about seven years, and I think it was the first time a magician had done an entire evening completely alone? no assistants or support acts, just bags of sleight-of-hand and a lot of laughs. And it was so successful, and I enjoyed it so much, that I?m doing another.?

This show will be considerably different in tone.

?The first show was basically about me and my love of magic?, Geoffrey says,

?But in my latest one I?m trying to be more versatile, and it promises to be a lot bigger and more exciting. I?m actually going to levitate an unsuspecting member of the audience this time!?

He hand picks the cosiest theatres for his shows, and the fact that the audience is within touching distance doesn?t bother him at all. In fact, he loves it!

This is a golden opportunity to see a truly original master at work.

?I?ll be taking advantage of the Wharf?s intimacy to do close-quarter magic around the auditorium in the interval,? says Geoffrey, ?So this show really is unique. And it?s probably the friendliest show you?ll ever see!?
