A SERIES of special bargains means West Devon residents can let the train take the strain with some half-priced tickets from the Sunday Rover Network.

Normally priced at £6 per adult, during the next few weeks a special deal of £3 per person for Sunday Rover Network tickets are available on Sundays June 1, 8 and 15.

The special price means travel around Dartmoor and the Tamar Valley by bus or train is particularly good value ? and this year there are a range of new features to offer an even wider variety of circular trips.

A new 318 service will operate using a Classic coach from the 1950s, leaving Okehampton Station at 1010, 1310 and 1610, calling at Rosemoor Gardens.

There is also a new direct link from the station to Haytor by bus 174.

Other benefits to Sunday Rover ticket holders are the discounts on admission prices to various attractions like Castle Drogo and Morwellham Quay and free admission to Dartmoor National Park Authority?s series of guided moorland walks.
