THE English Language School in Tavistock has again been running its Angloball course.

The professional course is organised and run by Richard Hamer for foreign students wishing to improve their English and football skills. It consists of 15 hours language and 15 hours football per week, plus a range of leisure activities and excursions. The school is able to integrate different nationalities and has been running its football at Langsford Park. The school thanked Tavistock Football Club and Tavistock College — who provided facilities and two friendly matches.

The first match ended in a 2-2 draw. The language school were 2-0 up at half-time, and played with typical continental flair and technique but the English fought back well in the second half. In the second match Tavistock College beat ELS 5-0.
