THE home side pressured and earned themselves a controversial goal. This led to a lot of frustration, resulting in Tavistock keeper Neil being yellow carded.
Tavistock continued the game for 10 minutes without a keeper. They kept hold of possession and defended immaculately at the back to keep Bude at bay.
Two goal line clearances from Kevin Lethbridge made sure Tavistock were still in the game.
After 10 minutes the away team regained their keeper and upped their game. The half time whistle went and both teams gained a deserved break.
Tavistock returned to the pitch and brought with them some great chances and got the equaliser from a short corner, struck by Phil Edwards, hard and low.
Bude went on to the attack and were rewarded with a goal tucked just inside the post. Luck did not seem to be on Tavistock's side.
The home side continued to pressure and created a fast paced game that Tavistock struggled to keep up with.
Despite great effort from the the visitors they failed to get another equaliser.
Bude kept up the attacking play and scored with the back of the stick. Tavistock were then denied a penalty flick after an offence committed by the opposition's keeper. With 10 minutes left, it seemed as if it couldn't get any worse when Phil Edwards the captain twisted his ankle and had to leave the pitch.
Just before the end, Bude managed to get in another, leaving Tavistock frustrated.
