MOUNT House Colts B won their home match against Exeter Junior School by 32 runs. Batting first, Henry Lopes and Jamie Redfarn put on 28 for the first wicket, and after a quick-fire 10 runs from Nick Bennett, Harry Woodhead scored an excellent unbeaten 36 in difficult conditions to enable the home team to post a score of 103. The Mount House bowlers concentrated on accuracy rather than pace, and this combined with some sharp fielding, put pressure on the Exeter batsmen. Opening bowlers Max Taylor and Nick Bennett kept the run rate down, enabling the first change bowlers Henry Lopes and Jamie Redfarn to get among the wickets. After 15 of their allotted 20 overs, Exeter were all out for 71, giving Mount House a well-deserved victory. Mount House captain Jamie Redfarn was man of the match, scoring 21 runs, and taking five Exeter wickets for sevens runs.
