SID Kipper, Martyn Wyndham Reed and No Man?s Band, and Dr Sunshine and Chucklefoot are among the impressive line-up of artists booked for the 29th Dartmoor Folk Festival, which will be held in South Zeal in August. Others attending the event from Friday, August 11 to Sunday, August 13, include the Devil?s Interval, the John Dipper Band, Tom Napper and Tom Bliss, Hearts of Oak, Cornish Songwriters, and Grand Union, playing the Saturday evening ceilidh. Other guests during the weekend include Tony Beard, the Wag from Widecombe, Dave Wills, several morris and dance teams and the Dartmoor Pixie Band. Highlights will include the Dartmoor step dance and broom dance championships, song and music sessions, a Dartmoor Fayre, craft displays, dances, a music hall, Sunday ramble, folk service and children?s events.
