A LOCAL historian will be giving an insightful talk about the history of a West Devon church this month.

Richard Parker, who specialises in 19th century churches, will give the talk at St Michael and All Angels Church in Princetown, focusing on the church's history.

St Michael and All Angels is in the care of the Churches Conservation Trust and is open to visitors most days of the week.

The talk, at 7pm on Wednesday September 28, is free and refreshments will be available. Guests are advised to dress warmly as the church is likely to be cold.
