THE Original Pasty House in Tavistock reopened to the public this morning after a member of its team tested positive for Covid-19.

Owner Nigel Eadie said that the shop had undergone a deep clean and was open to the public by 7.30am.

A statement by the Pasty House on Sunday said that the team member who tested positive was in self-isolation and the shop was closed for cleaning.

‘Our number one priority is to ensure the safety of both our staff and our customers. The shop underwent an immediate deep clean and was closed today [Sunday].

‘We have been and are continuing to follow all government guidelines, including track and trace.’
