HAPPY campers insist their spirits have not been dampened by the summer downpours this week at the Harford Bridge Holiday Park, near Peter Tavy.

Assistant holiday park manager, Sharon Jolliffe, said that a flurry of unseasonal showers haven’t affected campers’ moods.

She said: ‘We’ve had an absolutely cracking summer, we’ve had full occupancy throughout the weeks and weekends and great reviews on sites like Tripadvisor despite the weather.

‘Children have arrived fully kitted out in wet weather gear and have completely enjoyed the whole experience. We haven’t had any grumpy campers!’
