THE new season at The Plough Youth Theatre, Torrington, begins next month, when youngsters start preparations for their new musical show, Gulliver's Travels in Space.

The youth theatre last month played their production of 'Festivity', a heart-warming piece that was much appreciated by audiences who also received a Christmas cracker and mince pie.

Work on the new show starts on January 9 between 10am and 1pm. Anyone between eight and 12 who enjoys acting, singing and dancing and who would like to get involved should call 01805 624624.

Tickets are also on sale for the senior youth theatre's production of Beauty and the Beast, which will be staged between February 10 and 13.
