ON behalf of the Royal Marines' Association Tavistock, a great big thank you to all the people who contributed £712.25 which will be a big help to our serving members. This shows the strength of the people's feelings for our troops serving in Afghanistan.
Thanks also to the Original Pasty House, for the most welcome beverages they gave to our collectors, we must have looked like a set from 'Singing In The Rain', all using brollies!

WE had a very successful collection day in the town centre and Morrison's forecourt on Friday July 31.
