THE mayor of Okehampton Cllr Paul Vachon was greeted by witches and werewolves when he paid a visit to the Hallowe’en workshop of Get Changed Theatre Company.

Cllr Vachon visited Get Changed to present a cheque from Okehampton Town Council to the organisation for £300 which will fund the graphic design and production of Get Changed‘s annual review book. This year’s will be a special edition celebrating the 20th anniversary of the organisation.

Founded in Okehampton in 1995, Get Changed works with adults with learning disabilities and mental health problems using role play and performing arts techniques to develop life skills and confidence.

It promotes social inclusion and empowers people to realise their full potential. Its work is led by participants and is designed to inspire, entertain and educate public audiences.
