REPORTS have been received from people across West Devon regarding a man with an Irish accent calling door to door, offering generators for sale. There have been reports from Highampton, Sourton, Lewdown, Horrabridge and Hatherleigh. Police say there appears to be a number of callers which they believe are linked to travellers in the area. They have asked people to be aware regarding any suspicious sales people in order that they can be checked out.
