A GARDEN party at Morwell House near Morwellham, Tavistock, will feature a host of activities on Saturday, June 30, including a book signing by a local author. Tania Crosse, author of Morwellham?s Child and The River Girl, will be at the event from 2pm to 5pm, along with cream teas, music from the ?Four Season?s? string quartet, and guided tours of the gardens. The party, in aid of St Paul?s Church in Gulworthy, will also see stalls of plants, cakes and preserves, horse and cart rides to Morwell Rocks, competitions, a raffle and grand prize draw. There is a limited number of tickets for this event. Places are allocated on a first come first served basis. Tickets are £7.50 per person, under 5s free.
