OKEHAMPTON Medical Centre has announced the dates for this year's flu jab clinics. The sessions are open to at risk patients, including those over 65, pregnant women, and those with heart disease, diabetes, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, or with immuno-suppression conditions All patients over 65 are eligible for a free flu vaccination on the NHS. Vaccines are also available for carers. The centre will host clinics on Saturday, October 11, October 18, October 25 and November 8. On October 11, there is no appointment necessary between 8.30 and noon. The other sessions will require patients to book an appointment. The centre also runs a series of village hall flu jab clinics. They will visit Exbourne on October 7, Belstone on October 21, South Zeal on October 28 and Sourton on November 4. No appointments are necessary for these clinics, which run from 2pm to 4pm.
