LAND'S?end to John O'Groats via Ireland! That's the novel route for a sponsored cycle ride being undertaken by Jeremy Hyde, of Tavistock, and friends Paul Newton, Dean Elliot, Bill Sparks and Pete Rodgers.

The five men are raising money for Myeloma UK by cycling from Land's End to John O'Groats, while cycling the length of Ireland on the way. Spurred on by his friend and neighbour Mike Dion, who has been diagnosed with Myeloma, Jeremy decided to help raise awareness of the condition, as well as funds to support Myeloma UK.

The friends aim to complete the challenge in 12 days.
