WINTER finally showed its hand during the last few days, as a light covering of snow fell on Dartmoor and the temperatures plummeted.
Black ice proved tricky on pavements and untreated roads on both Saturday and Sunday mornings, but no major incidents have been reported.

Tommy, from Milton Abbot, is a photography student at Plymouth College of Art.
