FIRE crews were called to an electrical fire at the adventure centre in Newton House, Kelly College last Saturday, June 8.
Four fire appliances attended the blaze — two from Tavistock, plus others from Yelverton and Princetown.
Electricians from Western Power also attended. Firefighters arrived at the site at 8pm, and left around three and half hours later, having extinguished the electrical fire.
A number of teenagers had been using the centre during an adventure weekend, but no-one was injured.
